I'll start by introducing myself. I'm a long time bike and car enthusiast. In my twenties I built and raced motorcyles, after that I moved into the off road world with a Suzuki Vitara. Professionally I was apprenticed as a Electronics Technician, working on building prototype circuit boards and systems for, mainly, missile applications. I then went off to college where I took an HND in mixed discipline Enginering before attending university to take an Electronics Engineering degree. Since graduating I have been designing electronics for radar and navigation systems, gunfire control and automotive applications. I have designed my own dsPIC based ECU and spent many hours reverse engineering various Suzuki ECUs.
