COP is "coil-on-plug" and really refers to the location of the ignition coil more than anything else - COP can be run wasted spark, or one COP per plug.
And Web comes back. *CHOKE* Nice project, all questions askedĀ are answered. Using a pic as a a COP/Hall effect controlled simple ecu, look 4ward to more reading... after i move house.
Nice concept, when my web is working will follow the link. is COP also called wasted spark or are you firing COP on each spark like v8 astin martin? like a tandom fuel injector/spark per cylinder?
I made initial ignition map by datalogging and characterizing existing distributor control curve. Rest of the table is filled "from the hat". Engine runs well with this map but it is for sure far from optimal. I am more of an electronics guy than engine tuner.
If there are engine tuners in this list I'd appreciate good advices and help to get my 1.3 8V ignition map right.
