Damn, wrong picture,  it should have been a pic of one of the new 90m coastguard OPV. No guided missiles, just 20 and 30mm cannons.
I left that job a year ago and now work with vibration sensors (aka knock sensors), those OPVs probably haven't been launched yet!

Hi Daniel

Welcome aboard - good to see some folks from this corner of the world.

I've never been over that way myself but if you see one of these bobbing around T&T then I did the electronics for the stabilised platform the radar sits on and a large part of the gunfire control system.

woow! nice job you got there!! I worked for 10 years on pleasure yachts installing & servicing their Radar/ Autopilots/ GPS systems! No missile tracking systems unfortunately, lol!

I don't think we've ever had a guided missile cruiser down here (in Guyana), and if they had one over in Trinidad, it would have been during the recent Summit of the Americas.

We're actually in two different countries - I'm on the South American mainland - and he's on an island, but we're essentially next door neighbours - as an example, if I get on a plane to go anywhere, the first stop is always Piarco, Trinidad.

I used to be in & out of Trinidad quite often - installing and maintaining Eaton Powerware UPS product, but my last trip was December '04 - I should be there next year though - one of my daughters is doing her masters at the University of the West Indies there and should graduate in October of 2010.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

and Rhinoman, I will have a look tomorrow to confirm that there is a diagnostic port. I'm not sure which pin the diagnostic port goes to on the ECU, but I will try to trace it and get back to you

Welcome to the board, which ECU do you have?

Edit:
I just saw your post on Teamswift. Your ECU is very similar to the one that I have here, mine is an I2, you will see the details in the Suzuki ECUs thread. Do you have the diagnostic plug in your Swift? if so which pin on the ECU is it connected to? this is not shown on the schematic.
