Welcome to the board. The first step is to determine which processor the SX4 ECU uses, can you post a pic of the PCB? The protocol to reprogramme the earlier (c1998-c2002) Suzuki ECUs is known but the software to reprogramme it hasn't been developed yet. If the ECU isn't one thats already been reverse engineered then the code must be pulled from the ECU because there is an ID string that must be used to allow the reprogramming software to run. hello all. I stumbled on this forum a while ago when I was looking for info on the Suzuki SX4 ECU. Now things have changed, I now own 2 SX4 and one of them is turbocharged. some guys here will recognize me from teamswift. I really want to dig in the stock ECU and this reverse engineering thing is all new to me. I'm not even sure what kind of hardware/software I need. I'm kind of reluctant to buy the tactrix cable without knowing if it will work. there's no support on their forum for suzukis. I guess the best place is here then. I would like to work from the OBD2 port if possible. Is anyone able to help me out? where do I start?
