If it doesn't work with an OBD2 tool then it will be SDL/KWP, I don't currently have a tool to support that protocol. Rhinoview will only work with SDL so a 'standard' OBD2 interface will not work, the only tool that is currently available is the SDT dealer tool.

My name is Stojan. Few days ago i buy rigth hand drive Suzuki Grand Vitara with 2.5 V6 petrol engine.
It's really nice car, perfect for may purposes - daily driver and some offroad at the weekends.
Befor that i have 1.6 2 door vitara, but it was small for me and i sold it.
However the Check Engine lamp on the GV is on, so i start surfing in the internet to find appropriate software to read the data trоuble codes. I find your website, read the information(very helpfull) but still i have some questions.
A freand of mine can borrow me a OBD to USB cabel(he uses it for his Alfa 147). So with this cable and RhinoView software could I read the trouble codes??? And then fix the problem.
The problmes is that here in Bulgaria there is NOT special SUZUKI scan tool for vehicles before 2005. ?!?!?!?
I attached pics of my old vitara, of my new Grand vitara and of the diagnostic couplung.
