Hi - I knew nothing would be simple on my Jimny! biggrin

Okay - I can't get an ID to come up in the ECU ID box - it just reads '0000'.

With the connector block it looks like I've got 9 and 16 down one side and 2, 4 and 5 on the other (but this could be 4,5 and 7 if I'm reading from the wrong end).

This combination doesn't seen to tie in with anything that I should have - any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

DT.

Can you please check the ECU ID, from the 'view' menu, I would have expected an O2 to be OBD2, on your connector have you got pin 7 populated?

Hi -

I'm trying to connect to my soft-top 02 Jimny (has the old single cam engine) - I checked before ordering that I had the right 'live' pins to connect to but when I try connecting my laptop to the car I just get a count at the bottom of the virtual dashboard with 'Bad Data' by it - there is clearly no connection between the car and the software.

The driver and COM port seems fine and Rhinoview is happy to 'open' the port when requested but from that point on I don't seem to be making any connection.

This is the latest version of the software and I'm running it on a Windows 7 laptop. Has anyone any ideas where I might be going wrong?

Many thanks,

DT
