The parameter vaules varies from vehicle to vehicle and should be shown in the FSM but this is not always the case. key on baro and MAP readings can be checked with a local weather station, TPS Angle should be between 0 and 100% although in mnay cases it doesn't read more than 95%. Fuel trims should be around 128 or 0 depending on model. IAT, CTS and EGR temperatures can be checked against ambient when the vehicle is cold, CTS should max at around 80C with a standard thermostat. Injector PW with the engine warm is (I think - I was scanning mine last night) around 1.3ms. IAC duty cycle should be around 50% at idle engine warm and O2 should switch between 0 and 1V.

Got the RV working - thanks.

Is there any document that explains what the range of the parameters shown on the RV should be?  I have read the entire help document.  There is some spars info in there, but not for all the parameters.

Your guidance would be fully appreciated.

Cheers,

The Prof!

For the 8V Sidekick you can also run TunerPro RT v5, with the 1112.adx file which should be around here somewhere.

Hi, welcome to the forum. The driver that you need is the VCP driver available here:

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Once you have unzipped the Rhinoview download you will find the help files are in the Help folder.

Hello folks:

I just got the SDL interface and am veruy excited to use it.

Here are a couple of simple questions:

1. Which driver should I download and install from the list of drivers in www. Ftdchip.com (I am running Windows 7 OS).

2.  There has to be a manual for the use of the software/hardware – where would that be?

Cheers!
