Hello, thanks for the reply. There is no O2 sensor aswell. Do you know where can i get the SDL or Tech 2 tool? Any idea about this idle dropping? Its very confusing because we check all components of the car and still dropping its idle. May be if  we can get the scan tool we might be able to find answers.

Your vehicle is an E31 Philippines model, it isn't recognised by the Snap-On version of the Suzuki Parts database. It should be possible to get live data from the car using an SDL Interface or a Tech2 tool. The BHP enhancing chips do not work so don't waste your money. Do you have an O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold?

Edit: Thanks to Fordem for checking the market code.

Hi, I got the the info in the blue plate in the car it says SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION JAPAN, TYPE GC13W, ENGINE G16B. I would like to know if i can scan the ECU for faults. Isuzuki blue badge.jpg found some enhancement chip that can be connected to increase BHP. is that true or it wont help? My main problem really is that idle dropping.. hope you can suggest something, what other things can we check?

It should be on the blue plate. The Phillipines should be an E31 market code but you if its not specifically designed for your market then it may have a different code.

The market codes are all listed here:

Hi, thanks for the reply, i think there is no O2 sensor as well. Can i find the market code on the blue badge on the left hand corner of the engine bay? Sorry I'm not very familiar with this car! Can you give me example of the market code. sorry for being an idiot about this. I will ask my mechanic to have a look. by the way I am physically in England and my car is in the Philippines just to make it straight. i want to fix the car before i go home. and maybe i can buy some parts here in England to sort out the car.

The black box that's missing is the evap canister. Do you have an O2 sensor fitted? mine did a similar thing when that went bad and it didn't throw any fault codes. What market code is your Baleno? it may not have had some of the emissions equipment fitted.

Hello. from Philippines. i  got suzuki esteem 1998 automatic. idel is good on mornings when the engine is still cold, when it gets warm the idel drops and stalls when driving at low speed. driving on motorway got no problem only when starts to slow down and hit the brakes the engine suddenly cuts out. I already cleaned the trottel body, TPS, IAC valve, put new plugs, new fuel and air filter, new battery and alternator, checked coils and leads, but still engine stalls particularly when engine is warm. I can not find the MAF sensor in my engine is there any? hope somebody can guide me to fix the problem. Engine check light is not on, so I am assuming that Cam and Crank shaft sensor are fine, am I correct? i attached some picture of my engine so any body can assess if i got missing component in the engine bay because when i look at other pictures there are something that i do not have on my engine like the black box beside the fuel filter and i think i do not have EGR valve. please do not mind the battery, i already put new ones and new connectors. anybody pls. help1378088_669713326386061_404889375_n.jpg1385059_669713446386049_1205107269_n.jpg1235521_669713589719368_341824318_n.jpg1385995_669713526386041_1347940816_n.jpg
