To be honest, the Rhinoview software is a lot easier to get going than other diagnostics software I've used. Took me 12 hours to get connected to a set of Motorola radios with the Motorola software!

Thanks for the update. Auto baud rate detection is on my list of 'things to do'.

For a 16V Vitara ECU you need to set the comms speed to 7812 baud before you connect.

Hi, just received my SDL interface kit.

I'm on Windows 7. I installed the latest 64-bit Windows driver. Then installed RhinoView, but Rhinoview would not start as detailed in another post. I then downloaded the FTD2XX.DLL to the Rhinoview root folder, as advised in previous post. But all I get is trying to connect, and the Rx signals received counter just goes up. A couple of times I got something about definition files missing on ECU number XXXX, where the ECU number was just 0000 or the second time it was an actual number.

My ECU model number is 33920-71EE0, on a 1997 short wheelbase 16V Vitara.
