OK, thanks.
MPG was a working feature, I don't use it myself so I will have to check that, the calculation is performed using the injector pulse width and RPM.

The problem was the earthing. The earthing wire connected to the thermostat housing was loose but more important, the earthing wire going to the distributor housing was completely disconnected! - for unknown reason. By the way is the MPG (data viewer table) on the rhinoview software supposed to be a working feature? Maybe is not implemented yet or my ECU cannot support the feature? All I get is 0.
Finally I got the rhinoView to work, I had a fault in the wiring harness which I fixed and now everything works as it should. By the way, excellent work, the adapter and the software!
I've been running Rhinoview under Windows 7 64-bit for a few years so it isn't a compatibility problem. What do you have the sample rate set to? it should be at least 100ms to meet the SDL specification although later ECUs can handle a faster rate.

Hi, I just purchased the SDL interface and here is what happens when I connect it with my win 7 64bit laptop: SDL interface is recognized by the software and communication can be established using 15625 baud. But after a couple of seconds bad data count begins and there is no values updating thereafter. Moreover this is only possible while idle, if under acceleration no values can be retrieved at all. All this happens while the RV indicates that is "connected". I tried the ECU that I got from Rhinopower (56B70) with exactly the same issues so I can only assume that there is nothing wrong with the ECUs I tried. Also I have to mention that the RV software crashes after a while if the interface is not connected at all. Maybe is a 64bit compatibility issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
