Ok I understand. Any work on this would be greatly appreciated. Most components on my vit have the Mitsubishi name or logo stamped.
In the meantime I posted my brake issue here

I haven't done a lot of work on it. The main issue is that the SDL interface is a very old product with low demand so the effort required to rewrite the software is better spent elsewhere. I am doing some work with a couple of my own vehicles however so I may add the functionality for my own use and then grow it from there. Some of the early Vitaras used a Ford ABS that won't be supported because its a completely different protocol. I will have a look and see if the ABS is SDL compatible.

Hey rhinoman you had a topic that was closed: Non-Engine ECU ID Numbers , there you stated "I will be adding support for other controllers, initially ABS, auto-trans and airbags"
