How many pins are populated? in 1996 there were some OBD2 ECUs that didn't support SDL but a Japanese should, my database is for Suzuki Europe but most models use the same protocols, is this a 3-cylinder?

I'm looking for a way to read data (codes as well as live sensor data) on my 1996 jimny. It is jdm ja22w "wild wind" . My normal scanner obviously can't. Can anyone with more experience (trust me the bar is set low) tell me if the hardware and software exists? It has the 16 pin OBD2 connector.
