Thanks guys. I'm a little inconsistent on my forums lately from work and projects myself.
It's kind of a shame that more guys aren't playing with custom chips. It's always nice to be able to keep stock computer, and it's still pretty cost effective.
Once you get a few guys doing it successfully, and making it easy, perhaps more will follow suit.
Hi Good to see you over here. There hasn't been a great deal of interest in the GTi ECUs, generally the Swift guys run an off-the-shelf chip or switch to an aftermarket controller. That said a few people, including myself, have done some work on the code and we have the main fuel and ignition tables and the rev limiter defined. I have one modded GTi bin but any others that you have would be good so we can compare the differences. We have also just got the F6 binaries so we will be able to look importing at the knock code from the JDM models.
My house move is still on-going, we have now moved in but we are still without a telephone, internet access, a cooker and a load of other stuff. I have limited internet access at work and I'm still finding a few hours a week to work on software updates. Cheers James

Welcome to the forum - things are a bit on the slow side right now, Rhinoman's busy (moving house I think).
I saw your handle, recognized it from TeamSwift and wondered if it was the same person - I never knew who started that, but, man you did a fantastic job there, that is one of the most dynamic forums I've ever seen, and it's been of tremendous assistance in maintaining and modifying my Swift.
Just thought I would sign up on your forum. I started Teamswift on Delphi forums many years ago, before it switched locations, and eventually switched owners after 5 years, and I believe it’s swapped owners again since. In any case, I definitely think what you have here is a great resource started, and very valuable.Good job for the effort you put in to make it happen.
I’ve been out of the Swift world for a few years now, but recently picked up a 90GT with intent to use as a winter car. I’ve worked tuning in the past although I don’t do it for a living any more. I won’t be able to keep my Swift 100% stock, so time to start looking into modifications again. I am very tempted to work with stock ECU this time around.
I briefly played around with the GT ECUs way back when I was working tuning. One of the shops I worked with had Techtom equipment, which made life very easy at the time. I didn’t play around a lot there, but I picked up a romulator some years ago and played a little.I still have completely stock bins from a couple of my 89-91 MK2 Swift GT/GTi bins, as well as stock MK3 92-94 GT (ones that I downloaded). I’m sure these are already posted in the links you have if I actually look at them.I don’t know if I have any modified bins left after several hard drive crashes, but I will definitely take a look.
I notice that you have posted up .xdf files for a couple of the Swift ECUs now, which again, I think is great. Hopefully I can go through and try them out.Definitely interested in seeing if I can take advantage of tunerpro.
