We got to the new year eventually. You will have a KWP2000 based interface, I don't currently support those so its a dealer only job although you should be able to pull fault codes through the Check Engine Light. You will need to check the factory service manual for fault codes because they changed around 2001.

Hi, found this forum whilst trying to understand the myriad of diag interfaces. Suspect I have an SDL on a J1962A connector for the 2003 Suzuki Liana SE 1.6l (not VVT). Previously had a bad experience with a local Suzuki service agent and this lead me to the dreaded diagnostic interface and hence here I am. My thanks to Techsupport for the forum. I think I wanted an off-the-shelf solution to an interface cable/software tool and now I see it is a little more complex. Any help is appreciated to understand what PIDS my ECU will sense and log. I've managed to solve some heat related intermittent crankangle, camshaftangle and O2 problems but maybe a working diagnostic interface will help into the future. Oh, just before its too late...........Happy New Year in 30mins from Australia. yawn
