The part number should be on the main part of the case, rather than the cover. I found one reference to that ECU online, it gives the part number as 33920-60A30

The number should be on the case, it will be 33920-60Axx, you need an 89-90 ECU. A repair would typically cost around £100 plus shipping, so around $160 I would think.

Guess you wouldn't know how much it'd cost me until you looked at it? Do you have an average rate? I have a 5 speed. What year ECU can I use if it's a manual? Is it cheaper to fix or but? I most definitely can't afford $400.
I don't have any 89-90 ECUs anymore, I had a few cores that were unusable and they are quite difficult to source at a reasonable cost. What is the ECU part number? there are a few on eBay for $400-$500, if you have a 5-speed then any other 60A ECU will work, if its an auto then you will need an auto ECU. PM me if you want to discuss a repair, it may be possible but I would need to inspect and test it to see how bad the damage is. I'm in the UK so there will be shipping involved as well.

I understand everyone is busy with Christmas. just trying to figure out where to get parts and who can fix this, or if I can buy a new one somewhere. what models are compatible?
There is acid damage around the corner cap and possibly around the centre cap as well. How exactly was it connected up wrongly? it may be repairable but those early ones do sometimes have a lot of damage, if you take the board out of the case and turn it over are there any holes through it?
The E700 number is the firmware, that may be a very early ECU because it has a One Time Programmable version of the processor.

Just recently obtained a hotwired 89 Suzuki sidekick. Wasn't getting fuel, but would fire up 8f fuel was introduced into the throttle body. Was messing around with the wires and powered the wrong one. Pop.... Hiss.... Smoke. ECU is like this.
