Tech 2, Tech 1.5, etc, in Costa Rica may be $700 (US$), second hand... (used).
Thats cheap for a Tech 2. I have been trying to source one but most of them are clones with US only software. I have a couple of Tech 1 tools but I only have cartridges for 1991-95 years. I also have an SDT but but that only covers later N. America models and diesel models.

I think that it is most likely to be SDL/KWP which is a Suzuki protocol and not OBD2 - it uses the same pins as ISO9141-2. This protocol was used in many countries where OBD2 was not required by law.
